MOO is the print service people choose when they want their business card to feel special. Founded in London, it has built its reputation on thick, high-quality paper and premium finishes rather than rock-bottom prices.
Its paper range covers four main stocks:
- Original: 16pt paper in matte or gloss
- Super: 18pt with soft-touch or high-gloss finishes
- Luxe: 32pt Mohawk Superfine with colored seams
- Cotton: 17pt uncoated and sustainably sourced
On top of that, MOO offers gold and silver foil, spot gloss, raised spot gloss and letterpress, plus sizes including standard, square, MOO size and mini cards. A signature feature called Printfinity lets you print a different design on the back of every card in the pack at no extra cost — ideal for photographers, artists and designers showing a portfolio.
You can customize a template, design online with drag-and-drop tools, or upload your own artwork. Prices start around $23 for 50 Original cards, rising to about $43 for Luxe and $51 or more for foil and spot-gloss finishes.
That makes MOO noticeably more expensive than VistaPrint, and its design tools are fairly simple. You’re paying for the paper and the finish — and for many, that’s the point.
