Lingo is a digital asset management tool made by Noun Project, the team behind the popular icon library. It’s designed to be simpler and friendlier than enterprise DAMs, giving small creative and marketing teams one visual library for their brand assets.
Its main features include:
- A visual library that acts as a single source of truth for assets
- Brand portals and kits that combine assets with built-in guidelines
- Automatic file conversion so people download the right format
- Metadata and tagging for easier searching
- Usage insights, direct links and user management
Kits are a nice middle ground: rather than a full guideline website, you can pair logos, colors and imagery with short instructions and share them with partners or staff.
Pricing is transparent but not cheap for very small teams. After a 30-day free trial, the Starter plan costs $80 per month plus $16 per editor, billed annually, with 100 GB of storage and 50 monthly consumers. Business costs $160 per month plus $24 per editor and adds SSO, custom theming and API access. Enterprise is custom.
Note that Lingo no longer has a permanent free plan, only a trial. It also lacks the design and template tools of Canva or Marq. For small creative teams that want organized, shareable brand assets without enterprise complexity, it’s a clean fit.
