Canva is the most popular all-round tool for Facebook stories. Its library includes thousands of ready-sized vertical story templates, from sales and announcements to polls, quotes and behind-the-scenes updates, with many animated and video options.
Key features include:
- Thousands of ready-sized Facebook story templates
- Animated and video story designs with music
- Magic Studio AI for images, text and design ideas
- Magic Resize to turn stories into posts or Reels
- Brand Kits for logos, colors and fonts
- Content Planner to schedule posts to Facebook
- Real-time collaboration and comments
Because stories sit alongside Canva’s posts, covers and video tools, it’s easy to run a consistent campaign across every Facebook format.
The free plan is permanent and includes many story templates, one Brand Kit and monthly AI credits. Canva Pro, at about $18 per month on monthly billing (less billed annually), unlocks premium templates, Magic Resize and the Content Planner. Canva Business costs about $25 per user per month and adds shared brand controls.
Popular templates are widely recognized, and the best features need Pro. For all-round Facebook story design, though, Canva is excellent.
