Fotor is a photo editor first, which makes it a strong fit for YouTube banners built around photos — a creator portrait, a product line-up, a travel scene or a studio setup. You start from a ready-sized banner template, then use Fotor’s AI tools to enhance your photos and make them stand out.
Key features include:
- Ready-sized YouTube banner templates
- AI photo enhancer, upscaler and one-tap fixes
- Background and object remover
- Text-to-image AI generation for custom artwork
- Filters, effects, collage and retouching tools
- Apps for web, Windows, Mac, iOS and Android
Fotor’s upscaler is useful for banners, which need large, sharp images to look good on desktop and TV screens.
The free Basic plan covers core editing and design with daily AI credits, though some downloads are lower resolution or watermarked. Fotor Pro costs about $8.99 per month and adds premium templates, advanced AI tools, batch editing and high-resolution downloads. Pro+ costs about $19.99 per month and adds commercial-use stock photos, custom fonts and multiple brand kits. Prices can vary by region.
Fotor’s banner template range is smaller than Canva’s. For photo-led channel art, though, it’s a capable, affordable choice.
