Canva’s Background Remover lets you cut out a subject in one click without leaving the Canva editor. Select a photo, choose Edit, then BG Remover, and Canva removes the background so you can place the subject on any design, from social posts to presentations and product listings.

Canva also owns remove.bg, whose background removal is moving into Canva, so this is likely to become Canva’s main cutout option.
Background Remover is a premium feature. Canva Pro costs about $18 per month on monthly billing (less billed annually) and includes a free trial for new users, while Canva Business costs about $25 per user per month. Free plan users can see the tool but need to upgrade to use it.
It isn’t a standalone tool, so bulk or API workflows are better served elsewhere. For Canva users, though, it’s the quickest way to remove backgrounds inside designs.
